El Mexico - Shelbyville

We stumbled upon this gem while returning from the Jack Daniel's factory, and what a discovery it was! The food was fantastic, the prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5. Highly recommend!

The food is delicious, but the service has often felt insufficient. The staff is friendly, but they tend to bring out dishes as they finish cooking instead of serving the entire table at once. This means that some guests may be left waiting for their food while others are already eating. They do have a fantastic habanero salsa (red salsa) that is both spicy and flavorful! If you're a fan of spicy salsa, I highly recommend giving it a try. Service: Dine-in.
