Pizza Palace - Shelby

Totally awesome crust. Specialty pizzas not to be missed!. Shelby isn 't know for much aside from 3 main things: the Shelby Mall, residents that are referred to as Shelbilly 's and an infamous sign that used to hang outside the city limits announcing a certain race of people that weren 't allowed inside of city limits. Anyway, all that should change because I believe that Napoli 's is some of the best pizza in perhaps Ashland, Shelby, Clearfork and Mansfield. That was not a typo. This pizza has some of the best crust in the area being that beautifully thin and crisp kind without being a true thin crust. Additionally, it has a few blackened areas underneath indicative of an actual oven (instead of conveyor belt) being used. No, those blackened areas aren 't burnt, they just add depth to the pizza. The Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza looked like a bag of shredded lettuce fell onto the pizza, but really they just added lettuce and tomatoes to the pizza after it was baked. This was cool with me because it was kind of like eating a sandwich in some regards. The ranch dressing wasn 't absolutely soaking through the pizza, it was just the right amount and the chicken and bacon were laid on THICK. You really get your money 's worth. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza was equally as awesome with a few areas of the pizza exposing little pools of hot wing sauce. Interestingly, there was bacon on this pizza too. It almost made it too salty, but otherwise this was a great pizza. The Supreme was awesome with a nice in-between tomato sauce being used and plenty of toppings. Everyone in our family of 9 that night loved Napoli 's Pizza and I highly encourage you, if you live even in a city bordering Shelby, to come and try their pizza. It 's that good.
