Nannie’s Fish Camp Chicken Champ

The restaurant should update their online hours to accurately reflect when they will be open and closed. I traveled 45 minutes only to find a sign on the door saying they were closed all week due to a staff shortage.

The food was good, but in my opinion, it was a bit too expensive for a family of four.

Sitting here at restaurant waiting on food. Waitress is very rude to all customers. My wife and I ordered and she said well you know chicken will take 35 minutes. Are you willing to wait that long. She kept coming in and out of restaurant complaining to a couple young guys sitting outside near us that they only have two servers and that she couldn't believe that one server was sent home earlier. This is is our first and last time coming here. Watching customers come out talking about the crappy service. Take my advice and stay clear of this place. Would give them no stars if I had that option......

This fish camp is currently one of my favorite spots. The menu is limited, but the catfish and shrimp are top-notch, as are the sides. Just a heads up: the wait can be a bit long, especially if you order the fried chicken (which has a 20-minute wait time, as listed on the menu). Despite this, I have never received anything that wasn't fresh, hot, and delicious. The specials are also worth trying. The restaurant itself is casual and nothing fancy, but I still prefer dining in rather than getting takeout. I've always had good service, although my wife did receive the wrong order once, and we couldn't wait for it to be corrected as we had plans after dinner.
