White Castle - Shelby Township

Hadn't been to a White Castle in years, but when our 90+ year old mom had a craving for a few of these, well who am I to disagree? Bought a dozen Classic burgers and a bag of fries ... both disappeared in minutes. I guess there's no substitute for those Classic memories! Smiles all around. Just bring back the chocolate and vanilla shakes and I'll be back for more.

So good!! The place was nice an clean and the 6-7pm staff was great! There was this one worker she was black with glasses at the register and she was SO nice!! She was patient and was able to answer my questions! The food was super hot! My chesse sticks were soooo good(I'm talking about perfect stretch good def will be going back! My new white castle

Service was good. I was in and out. No long line in the drive thru. Food was fresh and hot, which was excellent. So I enjoyed having hot food and not warm food. Everything tasted great. Definitely would come again.

We got 100 tasty burgers for my daughters birthday! Gone by the next day. If it was pizza. It was of been thrown away. Not White Castle!

About one time a year, for reasons unknown, I go to White Castle. My visit for 2019 was worth it. I ordered a couple new things that I have not had before (the Chicken Ring and the Chicken Breast Slider). My total order was the Chicken Breast Slider meal, with a large fry and small Coke, and a 12-piece Chicken Ring (no sauce). Overall I was pleased with it all but the Chicken Breast Slider. I was not a fan of the cheese that they put on it; it tasted heavily processed and just had an off taste to it. The 12-piece Chicken Ring was better than expected. It was fun have nuggets that were shaped like onion rings. My order took about seven minutes from the point of when I paid to when I received it. I was a little annoyed during that wait time because no one had told me anything about the wait; however, it was because all of it was being made fresh. After I found out that was the reason, I was okay with it. Their Coke machine needs to be updated. The screen shows many options that are not available such as any of the Lemonade flavors. They were grayed out. Even when I selected Coca-Cola, I could not choose any other added flavors to it like cherry or vanilla. Those options were on the screen, but like the lemonades, they were also grayed out. They should update the machine to reflect what drinks they have available.
