Paprikas Indian - Sheffield

I had a fantastic takeout meal tonight. The chicken was plentiful and full of flavor, the side dishes were excellent. The ingredients tasted fresh and the order was prepared quickly. I will definitely be returning.

Don’t know if its changed hands/chef but the food here now is less flavoursome bland now.The jalfrezi bears no resemblance to its previous incarnation even lacks fresh chillies. A shame as its our local but this was the last time as it was one last go scenario.

This small Indian Takeaway produces the most delicious aroma as you walk past in the early evening. When we visit family nearby we usual treat ourselves to a meal, phoning our order through and collecting 20 or 30 mins later. Portions are plenty for us and come well packed and garnished with salad and fresh herbs and you do get the occasional whole spices too. Can thoroughly recommend the Biryani meal, the pickle tray and poppadoms, also various curries that my other half likes, the mushroom rice and peshwari naan. The mixed vegetable curry always has a good variety of vegs. Very good value too, can thoroughly recommend.

We have ordered food from Paprika before and enjoyed it. Despite reading some negative reviews online, we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, the food arrived 20 minutes earlier than expected and it was fantastic. The food was well cooked and we have no complaints. This just goes to show that some people leave negative reviews for unfair reasons. We will definitely be returning!

Over the years I have given this place 'another go ' and I seem more disappointed each time. The dishes always look and taste the same, I’ve been poorly the next day (twice) and the last time I rang on New Years Eve, (obviously expecting a long delay) as soon as the call was answered I was immediately and very abruptly/rudely told it’ll be an hour before I even had chance to say anything. They have a lot of issues that need to be dealt with shall we say!
