Golden Taste - Sheffield

This family-run restaurant offers a delightful atmosphere and generous portions of regional Chinese specialties. The chef sources some ingredients himself and even cultivates his own chili peppers. I've been a regular for years, and while the menu has evolved a bit over time, they’re always willing to prepare classic favorites upon request. Be sure to ask for the dragon eggplant—it's definitely worth it!

We had a delicious hotpot experience at this restaurant, which offered great value and friendly service. As a Chinese family that has tried many restaurants across Yorkshire, we can confidently say that this one ranks very high on our list. We will definitely visit again next time we're in Sheffield!

This is my first time going to golden taste and it was absolutely brilliant. We had the hotpot, and it was sooo good. So flavourful. The staff are so friendly. Will come here again. Honestly cant fault it one bit!

Would definitely recommend! Really tasty, authentic food, reasonably priced, massive portion sizes, ordered way too much. Crispy duck pancakes were amazing, king prawn fried rice had so many prawns!
