Fayre&square - Sheffield

We asked to change seats because we could smell the bathrooms from our original spot. The food was okay, nothing special, but the toilets were dirty and had a foul odor that made me feel sick. I didn't end up using them. The tables were sticky and dirty as well. Overall, the restaurant has declined in quality since our last visit.

Warm welcome when my partner and I came in. Pretty clean public areas. Good select of vegetarian options, nice wine. Good service, friendly staff !! We just ordered the Camembert starter and it was delish. We asked for more bread and a very nice lady brought us some. Most defo worth a visit. When we are in the area we will call again !

Having ordered the mixed grill sat back for suprisingly short wait. So much meat on one plate no need for me to upgrade to large. Food very tasty for what we paid making it a regular early tea option. Staff were chatty and helpful and cost was in proportion to experience

The food was out within 10 minutes after ordering which shows it wasn't cooked properly. Items I didn't want was on my plate, the burger smelled and even tasted microwaved. The desserts took longer to get to us than the mains, even then the custard was cold and so was the pancake. They didn't have most of the items on the kids menu. We didn't have any check backs, and the plates wasn't cleared until after our desserts had arrived. We got offered a free dessert and when we order it the waiter wasn't very happy. All in all I would rather starve than come back here for food. All the staff were miserable and service was poor.

Food tasted microwaved partner left his and when was asked if there was a problem and he said yes, the lady didn't ask what the issue was she just said she was sorry. not again for food however its lovely to site outside with a pint on a summers day.
