Costa Coffee - Sheffield

Staff were very busy gossing till they realised we were there. There attitudes were snooty and one of them kept hideing to check her phone. Honestly didn’t feel very comfortable here as I felt I was been judged by the cashiers. When it came to COVID rules enforcement they were been to assertive and were making elderly run around doing things as they said “they weren’t allowed to assist”.

I can't really write a long review on the Costa Coffee at Fox Valley in Stocksbridge only to say that it is a good standard and one of the better Costa's that I've visited. The staff are good and pleasant and the cafe is a good peaceful atmosphere. Happy to keep visiting.

A regular to this store, staff always friendly and talkative and never waiting very long for my order. Great store!

We are blessed to have 2 Unitas in Stocksbridge I am an advocate of the costa brand and the 2 outlets at fox valley as they differ so much in what they offer from an atmosphere and ambiance point of view which I really like as it depends totally on what I am doing want to do or mood I am in be it a quiet corner to read work think or just relax or meet friends and business colleagues really determines which outlet I use The service from the staff is the same the coffee quality is the same so there is a total consistency in this respect so it’s easy to select one or the other with confidence and not have to worry about any differences in the product the manager is always welcoming professional and lets you know of any new additions to the costa range or menu and his staff back him up really well great coffee great venues great service

I visited the Fox Valley, Stocksbridge Sheffield store for lunch today . Very rude chap served me . I wanted the meal deal as advertised . The sticker indicated which sandwiches were in the deal . The sticker was positioned midway between 3 choices. Very misleading especially for partially sighted customers. As I picked up each one the chap said No in a very loud voice. Eventually I was allowed to choose a mozzarella sandwich, one which I did not really want . but his attitude made it difficult to choose any other. I enquired about the snack part of the deal . Crisps only, was the reply. Not very healthy !! I expected a piece of fruit at least . Crisps only, was the reply in a sharp voice. I took the coffee as served and sat down , Humiliated, I vowed never to return . Greggs had a far superior deal and better trained staff . What is your answer ?
