Vinh's Wok Restaurant - Shediac

I think this restaurant is excellent. Every time I come to Shediac, I make sure to visit. The food is consistently delicious, the decor is charming and clean, and the staff are always very welcoming. It's definitely a great spot to dine in the area!

Our go-to Chinese restaurant in Shediac has shuttered its doors, so we decided to give this place a shot. It turned out to be a huge mistake. The Wonton Soup was overly salty and tasted more like onion broth, with just two small and bland wontons floating in it. The Chicken Chow Mein was mostly cabbage with hardly any bean sprouts or chicken to be found. The Chicken balls were strange tasting, likely because the chicken was precooked. The spare ribs were tough and dry, with a distinct old taste to them. The only saving grace was the rice. I've had better frozen Chinese dinners than this. I wouldn't return even if the meal was complimentary.

We were craving Chinese and I am fond of buffets so we tried out the buffet at Vinh 's Wok. The staff was friendly. There were several empty spots on the buffet and the food was edible just not anything special. I won 't make the...effort to try them again. You should understand that we were visiting in September, the so called Shoulder Season. There weren 't a ton of people in the restaurant. I wonder if the food would taste more fresh and the buffet more full if we visited during the busy season when there are enough people eating to keep the food turning.

My wife and I eat here at least twice a month. The food is great and the service as well, the restaurant is super clean , never seen a restaurant as clean as this one . try it you'll see .

The food is good but the heating table for the buffet could be turned up quite a bit. The food is simply not warm enough and takes away from the dining experience
