Waiting staff is very pleasant, fast. Beautiful view of the Shaver Lake, surrounding forest. Blue Cheese Bacon HB is excellent, restaurant made 'Chips' come wFlavorful sauce. Nice day trip.

I was twice, the first time the service was bad. There seemed to be a lot of confusion about where we were sitting. The beer seemed some off flavors like it wasn't quite finished like a house brewed beer.. soooo we stop this trip again to see if they have things together.. NOT! We don't go customers in the waiting area, two tables inside had guests, a terrace was half full. There are 2 of us and we asked to sit on the terrace on this beautiful day.... the hostess tells us Sorry that the terrace for large groups is only 4 or more people... if they were packed, I would have understood, but as you can see through my picture can not fully wait for terrace and nobody and almost empty inside...needless to say we went and spent our money on beer and food in the pub and scarf... Great view is all this place has for it. If you can turn off customers in the restaurant business, you have no business running!!

Lodge is currently closed!! (01-21-19) Pending new owners opening it up. I like this place for the atmosphere, the food was always just so so. But it has a deck lakeside and a nice bar inside. I am curious to see what the new ownership brings to such a prime location.

This place is great. The waitresses are beautiful and the beers are good. The drinks are also mixed for perfection. The live band made it a perfect evening.
