My wedding cake was leaning within 24 minutes after arrival to the venue. We literally had to stick a knife in it and balance it on a glass for the cake to stay up long enough for the pictures. The wedding cake was not assembled cold at the venue . Chef Shelli was late to the venue as well. After wedding an email was sent to her mentioning primarily about the cake falling and the ending response was I am sorry if you were unhappy . There is no integrity.There was a prior consultation with her as well mentioning our venue was outside and the wedding was in the evening as I initially said I wanted buttercream on the outside. From the conversation we decided that fondant was better because buttercream would not stand up against the heat. Well neither the fondant.The two stars are only because the cake tasted wonderful 2 layer cake with buttercream and fondant covering for a more traditional wedding look. and because this business is black owned.My mother also left a tip prior to the cake being delivered which was big mistake on her part.

The treats that Sweet Spot Urban Lounge is pumping out are beyond!! I am now a new customer, and I am already looking forward to the next time I can get my hands on the zucchini bread. Delicious!

Owner and staff are wonderful. Selection of goodies is amazing. My absolute fave is her pineapple strawberry jelly
