Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport/i-95n, An Ihg

We were hopeful for a good stay after seeing the large, open and clean lobby. However, our room was in tower 2 which is in desperate need of renovations. The hall was dingy with dirty carpet and cracked shades over the lighting. Our room was no better. The sheets were ripped in multiple places and the mattress pad stained. Luckily we had 2 beds as one mattress was very saggy. The floor and nightstand had visible and moveable dirt and debris. Soap dish was old and chipped. Lamp shade yellowed and cracked. The air was off when we entered the room and we never did get the musty smell or the humidity out of the room while running the air. The carpet was dirty and we made sure to not go barefoot. When I checked out the next morning, I told the desk clerk that the room was horrible. Without looking up at me she simply said sorry about that and had no desire to hear why I made the comment. Super disappointed as we really needed a good night 's sleep before our long drive but we left as quickly as we could . Can 't recommend.

I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for this hotel. We have flown from California because my husband’s dad has passed away unexpectedly. We did not book rooms in advance, but they still made room for us and even helped us check in a little early. I spoke with Jasmine in accounting briefly about our situation and she was so sweet and kind to us and helped me get my daughters up to our hotel room while my husband got the luggage. After a long, stressful and emotional day, we came back to the sweet letters written by the staff! Thank you so much crown plaza! I will forever to use this hotel whenever visit in Florida again.Rooms: The rooms feel very homey and comfortable. Super clean!Noteworthy details: The amazing staff extremely attentive, and worth every single penny!

I’ve been staying at IHG hotels for years. But this hotel was very disappointing. The hotel deleted my reservation before I even arrived without informing me. When I arrived I was told they were booked. Then when they “found a room,” they didn’t honor the price I booked it at. This is a reflection on management.Also, the hotel is under some type of refurbishment, and at one point the fire alarms went off while we were sleeping before work. So I would not recommend this hotel at the time for those reason.However, I cannot say anything negative about the front desk staff or the bartenders, baristas and food runners. Their front line employees are great.

Airport Shuttle, Starbucks coffee, dog friendly, clean, quiet, great black out curtains for late sleeps. Sports bar with light fare conveniently located on hotel’s 1st floor. Excellent choice.

The hotel was decent, but honestly, the bar was amazing. Carolyn was awesome. Funny and entertaining, and super helpful. Kyah was super knowledgeable about the drinks and an all-around great server who will go far in her career. Danny was pretty great too, even though I only chatted with him a few times. Almost all of the food was amazing, although a little pricey depending on what you get.
