I am always treated with enormous respect and love. I encourage everyone to eat here because their food is out of this world. The prices are wallet and pocketbook friendly.
This is the only Chinese restaurant around right now that has a buffet dinner. The food was really good the place looked pretty clean and nice people to talk to.
Required to pay up front. $22.24 for 2 without drinks. Buffet was disappointing. Great if you like lukewarm chicken 10+ ways. General Tsoas chicken was so chewy it was difficult to eat. Not of the selections were hot.....they were barely warm. No shrimp choices and no beef choices. Very disappointed overall. Will not return.
I have been coming to this restaurant for a really long time and have seen it go through three different owners and have seen the restaurant change interior and menu with it. When Lee took over the restaurant during COVID he immediately opened back up as soon as it was safe and I was there probably opening day. The food was definitely new and improved with a lot of home-cooked flare on the dishes I was used to. I got to know the owner Lee after eating there several times and came to find overtime that he really enjoyed what he was doing and creating the food. The buffet is kept pretty well stocked and definitely has a lot of spectacular dishes on it. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always fresh. Take out here is always extremely quick with good portions and I've never been disappointed. This is definitely one of my go-to restaurants on any day of any week anytime of the year. I genuinely really enjoy eating here and I really love the food especially the dumplings and their sauce which I know Lee takes great pride in.
I grew up coming to this Main Moon location often, and now live out of town, so my husband and I decided while we were in town to get some good old buffet Chinese food at Main Moon this evening. We arrived around 7 on a Friday night, and were charged almost $40 for two adults and a child to eat dinner. Not a big deal if there was actually a decent amount of food on the buffet. Half of the pans here are empty and not being refilled at all. If you’re going to charge patrons dinner prices, at least have a fully stocked buffet with hot food. Most of the food that is available to eat is cold and hard. It has been sitting out probably since lunch. This is actually the first time I’ve been here that this has occurred. Usually, the food is hot and the pans are frequently being filled with fresh food. Also, the dessert table is nearly empty. No ice cream at all, and very watery pudding that has likely been sitting out at room temperature for hours. I think we will choose another buffet next time.
