Haroula's Coffee Shop - Seymour

This is honestly the best diner I've been to. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming! I absolutely love this place! The grilled blueberry muffin is simply amazing - it's a must-try! Highly recommend!

Today, I visited this restaurant for the first time after living in Seymour for about five years. It was a delightful experience! The same person greeted me, handed me the menu, cooked my meal, served it, and even took the time to share with pride the history of the restaurant and its family. While not everyone may have the same experience, I felt fortunate to enjoy that today. I can't wait to return for another breakfast and I regret not discovering this place sooner! This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem in Seymour that deserves more attention for breakfast and lunch. Parking might be a challenge due to its location in the historic downtown area, but even if you have to search for a spot, the atmosphere, the food, and the overall experience are absolutely worth it!

Gus has truly become like family to us. It's a fantastic place to visit, and the service is exceptional.

The restaurant is very clean, and I had the best cheeseburger club I’ve ever tasted! After we finished our meal, Gus joyfully danced over while humming, carrying a tray of pies. We ended up chatting about the weather, the history of Bridgeport, and technology — he truly is an inspiration! I often hear that small, family-owned shops are being replaced by chains. It’s sad to see many of them go, but there are still plenty of gems out there. Please support these smaller businesses! The American dream is very much alive, and I saw it reflected in Gus’s eyes. Let’s all support small businesses!
