Amazing place...great atmosphere. Food was amazing, aside from the slightly under baked bread sticks. Great staff...the entrees were perfect. Just remember its a BYOB place. And be prepared for delicious desserts, they know what they are doing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

This place was utterly delicious . Definitely a more expensive night out, but the food was crafted with love. Everything seemed to be scratch-made and even with that the wait wasn't astronomical to be served. Our server was the right amount of attentive and a man I can only assume was the owner/manager made sure we were satisfied with our meals (We so were!!! There are also a few neat exhibits in the restaurant from the old country Italy like an original bread trough (Mangia? And bread shovel. I highly recommend the stracciatella soup, it had the most flavorful broth! Even the dessert was mouth wateringly good. I had the canoli, and my husband had the tiramisu. What a great way to top off the evening. Mambo Italia is BYOB and I believe there is a corking fee for wine, so bring along your own bottle and mangiare! Parking: On street parking in Sewickley, so depends on the time of day how close you can park.

Absolutely phenomenal! The atmosphere is of a genuine, mom-and-pop type restaurant. The food is exceptional. It’s easily one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever had, and I only wish I lived in the area. The details as far as ingredients and preparation procedures are meticulously thought through. The pasta is homemade and ingredients are imported from Italy. I tried at least a half dozen dishes, and would recommend the pizza as an appetizer and one of fresh pasta dishes for an entree if I had to choose one meal.

This restaurant in Sewickley is a hidden treasure. Remember to pay for your street parking. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The owner even stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our liking and had a nice chat with us. Just a reminder to make sure you pay for parking, even if it's just a few minutes before 5 o'clock on a Friday. Overall, a great dining experience for dinner.
