New Seward Saloon Oyster

Oysters and seafood chowder are super great! Highly recommend. The entree is more like a fusion and new style, we tried fried chicken, pork and salmon. All are also good, but not very special. Overall the plating of food is great. This place is popular, good to reserve online in advance. The service is good.

This is a hidden gem in Alaska! To be honest, I did not expect to find such fine seafood restaurant in Seward but this place is simply amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious and super fresh! Seasoning was just spot on, complementing the freshness of the ingredients. The atmosphere and service was also warm and friendly. A must visit in Seward! The place can easily be full so do come early or make reservation in advance.

I have to say I was impressed. Service never seemed to miss a beat. Food was on point. Flavors were great. Their soup, BLToast, Salmon and pork dish (Meatballs) followed with two separate desserts for tasting. My only feed back would be a slightly bigger portion with the meatball dish or have an option for a few more based on the size of the meatball. It was overall a very great experience, if ever in Seward again I would come back. Dinner for two with a couple of drinks came out to about $170 and definitely worth it. Thank you!
