The Galley - Severn

Relaxed atmosphere with slow service, but always greeted warmly and they strive to do their best. The food is very good and reminiscent of homemade meals. We enjoyed our visit so much that we returned for a second time during our vacation.

This restaurant, located in a local pub/dining area, serves delicious local fish dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The friendly staff, many of whom are familiar faces in the community, are happy to chat with customers about the area. We were staying at the nearby Sunnylea Resort and Cottages, just a short walk away, and enjoyed sitting on the spacious terrace deck, watching the boats come and go. Inside, the dining area is bright and airy with classic diner tables. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a cold beer on a hot day!

Good food and friendly servers. There are not many options for restaurants in the area, especially since Christie's Mill and the Grill is closed, Rawley was only to take this summer and the gas station closes quite early. We ate here a few times from convenience. Food is good, nothing special. Id recommend for half price wing nights on Thursday in summer. They even had live music this year, which was nice that all live music was canceled over a year. I like the location, you can eat right by the water. Overall a positive experience if you are looking to eat somewhere in the port severn area.

Server was friendly good was good. The restaurant was decorated for Halloween and looked great. We enjoyed our meal... I will surely go back

We originally had reservations at a different restaurant (Oak Bay Golf Course) to celebrate our anniversary but after waiting for over 40 minutes for a table we were irritated and hungry and went in search of somewhere to eat. We arrived here and I believe...they were close to closing. We really appreciated that they stayed open to serve us. Our server Sabrina was extremely friendly and personable. My husband had the fish and chips he really enjoyed that, I had a taste and I have to admit their in house made batter is amongst the best ive ever had. I had the souvlaki pita and enjoyed that as well. Thankful The Galley pretty much saved the day, satisfied our hunger and dinner was tasty. Very much appreciate them serving us so close to closing. Good vibes all around at this establishment.
