The Vine - Sevenoaks

We went for breakfast recently and the it was lovely. Great value for money in such beautiful and relaxing surroundings. Would highly recommend for breakfast (Buck's Fizz is an option as well for those special occassions). Would recommend the blueberry pancakes!

The food was delicious and the ambience was very pleasant. However, we asked for a steak well done and a rare medium one and they served them to the wrong people.

We enjoyed our lunch on Saturday at The Vine Restaurant, Sevenoaks. However, we were taken aback to learn that the set price two course menu was £26 and not £16 as advertised on Toptable (applicable Monday Saturday lunchtimes. We ordered from the Brasserie list and enjoyed the starter of duck egg hash. The duck leg confit main course was nicely accompanied with colcannon. (The 'salmon ' fish cake starter, though quite tasty was frugally speckled with salmon! The wine was reasonably priced and the ambience and service good. After completing the feedback card immediately after our meal, we were delighted to receive a discount voucher from them for a future occasion. Well done The Vine for encouraging diner comments!
