Botega - SESTO CALENDE

Lovely quality and great choice of croissants, cookies and lunch. Very friendly English speaking staff. We always visit here when we can.

Nice coffee, big selection of cakes and biscuits, friendly staff, some seats outside overlooking the main square in Sesto Calende.

After a long lakeside walk..so nice to have a good cup of tea in this spot right in the middle of the piazza. All sorts of pastries/ desserts are served. A lovely location . We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon here. To be repeated.

We stopped in Sesto Calende looking for sandwiches and coffee on a weekend afternoon and found Botega Caffe Cacao. What a nice place! Our sandwiches were delicious, and we added a fruit tart for dessert which was even better. My latte was delicious as well, and we enjoyed the setting we had a high table out on the plaza on a beautiful day, which added to the experience. I'd like to especially point out how nice and friendly the staff were. I always feel awkward not speaking the local language, but the women who worked here were so nice and not at all annoyed at me speaking English. It took the stress out of the ordering process and assured I had a nice visit. Thanks very much to them!
