E Turre - SERRASTRETTA

I been knowing this place for few years know thank to my family that live around there and every time I go there im very happy because this place embrace the real Calabria experience which means the best Food in the world with a great and i mean great Price ratio the food and portions represent how the real Calabrian dines with a very generous antipasto and food portions always commensurate to the quality of this place. I never sleep up there but that is next on my list. Enjoy this place in a beautiful and green location and have a nice Bottle of their local wine. A salute. JC Caruso

:E Turre is located 5 km from my village, of Serrstretta, both tucked high in the mountains of Calabria, Italy's southernmost region. The proprietors have combined all the elements of a delicious local restaurant with the charm of a country B/B. The property is pristine, with blossoming trees and flowers all around. Restaurant fare brings wonderful Calabria entrees to your table in a warm and family oriented atmosphere.

We found this little gem in the middle of the Calabrian mountains completely by chance we were looking for a place to sleep before continuing our trip the next day. As luck would have it, we got there just in time for dinner, too. Oh my God, the hospitality..! Then the food (and LOTS of it)! The people, the place, the rooms, the restaurant, everything was absolute perfection. We ended up staying for lunch the next day as well, and every time we return to Calabria (we try to once a year), we have got to go to E Turre and stay at least a couple of nights. Marco and his family are gentle, generous, extremely friendly, and my can they cook. Also surrounding you are beautiful animals and nature which soothes the soul. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This place conveys so much serenity. with the full belly then the quadruple! serenity of the appetizer I hit very much the braciolo of spectacular potato while among the first a plague to the sauce with chopped sausage of meat and eggplant! better than my comment they will take pictures. On top!

Great place for those seeking peace and typicality! meats and products of the exceptional house highly recommend
