The best Chinese food on the Olympic Peninsula. Unfortunately they are closing down on July 28th due to their rent doubling. : Best crispy sesame chicken ! Large prawns, great size. Portions are HUGE. Inexpensive!

So disappointed to see sign on door that their business is closing at end of July due to significant rent increase. So sad. Best Chinese restaurant around.

Golden Star is one of my favorite restaurants here in Sequim. This place is the first place my husband took me on a date. They have the best flavors when it comes to my food. The family that runs the place is the best and very friendly. I am really upset that they are set to close their doors on the 28th of July.

Used to be a family favorite. We were the only customers except for one walk in to pick up take out. The waiter was unfriendly and knew little about the menu which is large and confusing). My food arrived and we waited for over ten minutes for my daughters to arrive . Her Almond Chicken was a plate of old, cold, tough chicken covered in brownish glue like gravy. Not like any Almond Chicken we had ever seen. He never checked on us and never asked why we did not eat her food which we were not bringing home. When he saw in had left no tip he screamed at me. Said I owed him a tip as he took order, brought water, and had to clean after . He also said if we ordered food we can 't complain and must eat it . He continued screaming at us as we hurried out. I predict he is out of business soon. Goid riddance
