Beautiful bar with beautiful mood. Good selection of beers. Just 2nd floor. Entrance through single steps. Be careful not to mix with the business below. You probably see this very much, I can imagine.

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxed, casual spot with a diverse beer/liquor/wine list! The beer list meets all great styles, there is a good Scotch list and a respectable wine list. I didn't try the food, but there's also what looks like a pretty good menu.

The beer is good, especially her IPA and Pale Whale! The manager, Steven, is very nice and speaks English well as he lived in Oregon for a while. The frits and the roasted chicken are also my favorites in Sangsu!

A great place for craft beers and cocktails. The food is just as good! I recommend the curry roasted chicken!

Whale Pub rules. So much so that we visited twice during the week we were here! They have an excellent selection of beers including one that they make. Dried fish was excellent as were the fries to snack on. Worth the walk from the hotels on Hongdae!
