Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant offers a completely vegan buffet for 15,000 won per person, featuring a variety of rice and vegetables. I particularly enjoyed the sesame porridge, the soup with plenty of ingredients, the pancake, Korean vegetables, and kimchi. The brown rice was chewy and delicious. It's not easy to find such high-quality vegetarian options in Korea, but this restaurant definitely delivers.
Simply good eating with a lot of nice. a lot of variety at the buffet.
A cozy buffet with very nice personal and delicious food! amazing pancakes!
This vegan restaurant is located on the shopping street in Insadong, just a 5 to 10 minute walk from Anguk metro station. The buffet concept is not high-end, costing 15,000 won per person. The meal begins with a small bowl of porridge and soup, followed by rice and the dishes of the day. The food is inspired by Korean temple cuisine, but does contain allium. Dishes with and without allium are not clearly marked, and it is unsure if the staff can advise on this. The focus is on natural ingredients with minimal spices, and no MSG or sugar. The dishes offered during my visit were mostly green and seaweed-based, with options like lizard-yellow, tteokbokki, sweet pancakes, black beans, and roasted baby potatoes.
In a basement in the mids of a rather touristy neighborhood, you find a vegan, temple food inspired buffet, run by very helpful women. No MSG and added sugars, few dishes with the five pungent spices, also rather reduced in salt, but there is soy sauce/sesame oil mix. Lots of selection, all tasty. Don't miss the pancakes.
