Alla Prima - Seoul

I found it very expensive, and the food didn't appeal to me. It's a tasting menu with several small dishes with exotic things. The food is well prepared, but it didn't please my taste. Meal costs 240 dollars per person (with 1 bottle of wine). It receives 2 stars for the service, which was excellent. I believe that for the price, we can eat tastier things in the city.

Just not for us. We eat at Michelin star restaurants internationally, seek out preset tasting menus, and unfortunately I have to say this menu just wasn’t our favorite. It became a slog to finish by the end. Everything felt heavy, earthy, and flavor intense. I really enjoy a light, delicate, tasting menu that keeps you feeling like you wanted more bites of each dish. This one was the opposite- we ended up not enjoying most dishes and unfortunately leaving a lot on each plate. By the end of the meal we were anxious to leave. From our entire week stay in Seoul, this was our one regret. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Went for lunch seating. Both food and service were very good. Food taste was on point from start to finish.
