The use of chili may seem unusual for a restaurant in Korea, but this place executed it well. I appreciate that all the dishes have a homemade style and are not overly salty, making them easy to enjoy even for those not accustomed to chili, like my friend. The restaurant is situated in a quiet residential area and is quite narrow. The staff are friendly, but due to the restaurant's popularity, they are always busy. Be prepared to wait 15-30 minutes outside before being seated.

Even though I was unfamiliar with American food, it was delicious. It was a pleasant meal with my family.

The pulled pork platter with meat chili was excellent.

In an area filled with cool cafes, hip bars, and great restaurants Chilli stands out as it brings something the Mangwon and Yeonnam neighborhoods were lacking which was a soup spot that warm will you up on the coldest of days. Tucked in an alley the food is bursting with flavor and the homemade sodas like the tomato basil can stand on their own as well as pair perfectly with all the dishes. The service is friendly as they make you feel right at home. Simple food done simply well!
