Bidrage med feedbackCalled in today on our way to our holiday cottage we have for the next 2 weeks.Ordered food and drinks and sat outside with it being such a nice day. After only a few minutes the parasol on our table took off in a slight breeze I managed to catch it from hitting me in the face but not quick enough to stop it knocking my pint over. My wife reported in incident but they quite honestly couldn't be arsed, so I went in to see if they were going to replace my drink. When he finally managed to get off his laptop to answer me he said no as we can't control the wind. I said no but you should control your parasol as it was only sat in the hole by an inch at the best.So I got my money back for the food and walked out and will not be returning the rest of the 2 weeks of our holiday
We have an autistic child and the local residents gave us evil glares ut the landlord was was really nice food was great took a while to come to table but was well worth it .. would recommend to family's if you eat outside. As they have a great play area for kids .but if your kids are rowdy don't sit inside
It was great, lovely food and the service was good.
Booked a table for 4, table ready when we arrived, service was very good and the food was excellent. Will be visiting the pub again 100%. Thank you all.
Booked a table today, got there 10 minutes prior to the booking, they had allocated our table to someone else, the staff member who was very polite and really nice, ask would we mind taking a seat outside and she would call us when the table was free. We agreed and sat outside while having a drink. 30 minutes had gone, no call from the staff member, so I thought I'd take a quick look to see if our allocated table was free, success the table was free, so I place our drinks on the table as I could see the staff was busy and taking food orders, told my wife our table was free, by the time (less than 3 minutes) we returned to our table, our drinks had been removed and other drinks had been placed on it? So I went to the bar explained what had happened, I asked, had our table had been allocated to someone else? The reply was we needed to move people around, politely ask may we have another table, one was allocated, our drinks replaced but no apology. This is not a moan to get anyone in trouble, perhaps they need to look at their allocation of tables, especially when booked in advance.
