Bidrage med feedbackWhen searching for a wedding venue in the Southport area, this place surpassed all others in the vicinity. Upon meeting Julie, who manages the venue, we were greeted with a warm, relaxed, and professional welcome. Julie's 45 years of experience in the role was evident as she provided helpful advice on decorations, menu options, and tips for us as the bride and groom. The building itself is stunning, and we had the entire ground floor reserved exclusively for our wedding party. Chef Phil's food for breakfast and the evening buffet was exceptional, and his can-do attitude and willingness to accommodate our preferences was top-notch. My fiancée was brought to tears of joy upon seeing the setup of the wedding breakfast room the day before the event. The entire day ran smoothly and seamlessly under the expert coordination of Julie and her team, making us feel truly special. Many of our guests complimented the beautiful venue and delicious food. We highly recommend this venue for any special occasion.
I have visited this former church many times, and it is now a beautifully maintained building. The food is delicious and served by polite and well-dressed staff. The bar staff are friendly and helpful, and the drinks are reasonably priced. It is a great venue for weddings and other events, located near the famous Lords St and local hotels. There is limited on-site parking and plenty of pay and display options on the street. The building has disabled access via a sturdy ramp.
I have visited Southport Masonic Hall many times and it is truly a wonderful place to be. I have attended a few weddings here and I appreciate that the entire building is reserved for the event, providing great exclusivity. The staff are very friendly and helpful, making it a great hidden gem in Southport. I highly recommend it!
Been here to a few functions where it's obviously mass catering which I appreciate is always difficult trying to serve everyone hot food at same time. They have a new chef who knocks spots off the old one and pleased to say the food was very good. The decor in the main dining room is a little dated by today's standards but kept very clean and looked after. The bar is reasonable prices and the ladies toilets are spotlessly clean. If having a function I would definitely recommend considering it.
A fascinating venue, well sited for practically all amenities in Southport. The team here deliver excellent service, and even with large parties dining of 70+, everything runs like clockwork. I've been attending the carvery which is run on a monthly(ish) basis for the past few months; the value for money is huge three courses for £14 a head. The food is equally good Wayne the chef (and his team) are excellent. Prior to that, I have used this venue for family functions, and have always been well pleased. Added to that, the place has had a recent refurbishment of many areas. There is apparently wi fi available throughout, although I haven't used it. There is some on site parking, and any amount of on street parking nearby, with the church opposite providing additional paid parking. You can't really go too far wrong.
