There are a lot of reports about the decline in quality at Chipotle, so I was really reluctant to place an online order. My experience exceeded all expectations. My food was ready within the allotted window of time, the portions were appropriate, and most importantly the food tasted amazing. Will definitely come back to this location!
Today at chipotle, a server called me fat. Not a joke. I frequent this place a lot, mostly because I am on keto/intermittent fasting and I can make something here that fits my diet. I never get rice or beans because of the carbs, but being that this is basically my only meal of the day, I need to get extra meat for the calories. The server who insulted me was someone I 've had ring me up multiple times in the past. Every time he rings me up he struggles to figure out how to add the extra meat and needs to ask a coworker for help. Today when I came in, it was him and a woman serving the line. He was joking around very loudly with her the whole time. Which of course I don 't mind, I enjoy the playful atmosphere, but when it came time for him to ring me up everything went downhill. Again, he didn 't know how to ring up for extra meat, so she walked him through listing every extra serving. After going through the additional servings he reads them back to her followed by him exclaiming FAT! I was in awe. I really couldn 't believe my ears. Yeah maybe he was calling my order fat, but in the same sense he is referring to me. And yes, I am overweight. I 've been losing an incredible amount of weight on this diet, if that even matters, so this really really stung. Flashback to all my bullies in middle school. He immediately started apologizing profusely saying, that wasn 't directed at you, sometimes I just have no filter. Which made me think, oh so you 're usually just thinking about how fat customers are when you ring up their order, got it. I wish I said more in the moment, but truly I was just so taken aback I didn 't know what to think. While he was attempting to play it off or 'apologize ' I just said it 's fine can I get a small fountain drink. (Which I had already asked him multiple times, but he was too busy trying to make jokes to the coworker. He says okay and I pay. When I look back up from paying I see he 's putting a back of chips in my bag, which I did not ask for. I corrected him and he gave me the drink cup. Only after I left did I realize, he charged me for the bag of chips. He didn 't try to offer me a receipt or try to correct this mistake. I was too flustered to even realize in the moment that he charged me for this. I was still so shocked when I was paying for the order, but it was significantly more expensive than usual. This all happened in about 20 seconds. I normally pay about 22 for this same order, but I paid 27 this time. Not only did I get insulted to my face about my biggest insecurity, but I also got charged extra for something I didn 't even ask for. It was right before closing and I was honestly pretty emotional after all that so I decided to wait until tomorrow to call the manager to file for a complaint and ask for a partial refund. This really might be the worst experience I 've had at a restaurant. The food was okay as usual, but wow, that was just ridiculous. The woman he was working with was perfectly nice as she always is, but I can 't believe he was acting that way. I 'm not one to call a manger (literally ever, this will be my first time , but it feels warranted in this situation. I will not be going back here unless I need to for the refund.
I recently visited Chipotle Mexican Grill in Seekonk, MA, and I'm thrilled to share that it was a five-star experience through and through! From the moment I rolled in, I noticed how wheelchair accessible the place is. It's so refreshing to see a restaurant that truly accommodates everyone, and Chipotle has done an excellent job at that. The food, as always, was top-notch. Fresh, flavorful, and prepared just the way I like it. Whether you're in the mood for a burrito, bowl, or tacos, you can taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. And the portions? Generous enough to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites! Service at this location deserves a shout-out too. The staff were friendly, efficient, and made sure our order was perfect. They've got the Chipotle standard down pat, and it shows in their attention to detail and the way they interact with customers. As a parent, I also appreciated how kid-friendly the restaurant is. It's a place where you can feel comfortable bringing the whole family for a meal out. The kids loved their menu options, and I loved the stress-free environment. All in all, Chipotle Mexican Grill in Seekonk is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for delicious, healthy food in a welcoming setting. Whether you need wheelchair access or you're bringing the kids along, you're in for a great experience. Hats off to the team here for making every visit a memorable one!
