Karen's Gluten Free Bakeshop - Sedona

I live here in Sedona and enjoy the fact that Karens has a variety of vegan choices. I would like to see more and more, but she definitely has more than when she opened first. I'm a fan especially of cupcakes. I also enjoy the lemon bars when she has them or the blueberry bars oh and don't forget... all vegan. I feel good to support Karens because they do not use dairy products in their non- vegan products, which I cannot / cannot eat. This makes me happy to know if I'm gluten-free and healthy, that by default some cows... don't have milk options. DELICIOUS tastes most of the selections. I also recommend the soups. PS Always double check the label and confirm it vegan. Once in a while they mix the bowls. Vegan is usually the upper shelf so anyway double check! Updated by previous rating on 2023-02-11

I live in Sedona and have been enjoying the variety of vegan options at Karens restaurant. While I wish there were more choices, the selection has grown since the restaurant first opened. I particularly love the cupcakes and also enjoy the lemon bars, blueberry bars, and pecan bars - all vegan. I appreciate that Karens doesn't use any dairy in their non-vegan items as well, so I feel good about supporting them. The food is delicious and I also recommend trying their soups. Just be sure to double check the label to confirm it's vegan, as the trays can occasionally get mixed up. Vegan options are usually on the top shelf.

The restaurant offers delicious fresh bread, pastries, and salad. However, it should be noted that the turkey sandwich comes with a spicy sauce, possibly a generous amount of mustard. The salmon is also smoked. Overall, highly recommended.

I am not from around here and have a gluten allergy, so when I discovered this restaurant, I was thrilled! It definitely met my expectations. The bagels and donuts were delicious! The quiche was moist and tasty. Five stars!!! Thank you!
