Sky Chinese Takeaway - Sedgemoor

I assume the takeaway has changed hands, or their kitchen staff. Have used this place for the last eight years and always had great consistent tasting food. The last two takeaways were totally different. The schezwan meal was really bland, usually has a nice kick. Also, after the kas5 two meals both of us had tummy issues. So very disappointing

Was staying at a local camp site and ordered from here twice! The lady on the phone was friendly and helpful. Both times it was delivered efficiently to the camp site and the drivers called when at the main gate. When the food arrived, it was boiling hot and tasted very very good. Very cheap prices compared to our Chinese takeaway at home so was a bit skeptical but how I was wrong! Was the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had. Recommend the beef in honey black pepper! Devine! Only thing that took away the 5* was that they are cash only I personally don’t often carry cash. If you do then great!!

I visited this Chinese recently as my usual one was closed for some reason, but what an utter disappointment as the food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered a Chinese king prawn curry with egg fried rice from the young lady at the counter, but was informed that it is cash only so I had to firstly go to find a cash point to get some money out, then after approximately 10mins my meal was given to me by the chef after getting back to my accommodation I opened the lid of the curry and it looked mainly sauce but was just swimming in oil, it looked a strange colour disgusting with hardly any substance to it, the rice on the other hand did look nice as it was a light brown with bits of egg in it, but when I tried to fluff it up to put on my plate it was just a solid lump was difficult to squash it down to put the curry on top, the curry itself was just a greasy sauce with mostly mushrooms in it, not even much onion I only had 4 small so called king prawns that were so hard that I had difficulty cutting one, the entire meal was so disgusting that I got up threw it into the bin, a complete waste of money after the effort it took to get there.

Sky used to be the best around but have gone downhill terribly. Such a shame, the same thing happened to the Chippy next door they took over. We now have two takeaways side by side which have gone from the best to the worst. Not recommended

Was recommended to try this takeaway, ordered for delivery. Ordered chicken chow mein, prawn toast and other meals. Chicken chow mein looked as though it had been re cooked 2 or 3 times, no flavour and chicken was dry. Prawn toast was so rubbery couldnt chew it. Wont be going back
