Disappointed is an understatement, I have gone to this place for years and I am disappointed it has gone downhill, its clear that things are being allowed to slip ie oil with taste of chips being over powered by dirty old oil , I'm sorry to say that I will not return again after that disappointment

Quick service. Poor food. We ordered a couple of cod and chips and sausage and chips, looked good but unfortunately it tasted blatantly obvious that they have not changed the chip fat in a while and it tasted like it had gone off. Very sad. But could be easily fixed by changing the fat.

This is by far the best chip shop in the area. I live in Bridgwater and travel out most weeks. The Fried Chicken bits are amazing. Chips always freshly cooked and my partner loves the Chicken Pies. Highly recommend.

Disgusting isn’t even a word for it. We had fish and chips and a burger and chips. The old couple was nice but when we came home to open our dinner there was a hair in the curry sauce, chips had been cooked about ten times and all you could taste was nasty bitter oil. Fish was soggy and tiny. Never again. Shame as we have only moved into the area recently!

Simply wanted 2 portions of chips and 1 curry sauce. Waited for more than 20 minutes, was dished up half chips then had to wait for more to cook- so cant portion properly . Pricing outrageous- portion sizes different in the two trays, medium was £3, large curry sauce was £2 consistency of thick glupe . Didnt taste fresh even though had to wait and was supposedly fresh with a funny after taste- we had to dutch them goodbye £8, lesson learned wont return, did use to be good chippy.
