Hobbs Boat Inn - Sedgemoor

My sister, our friend, and I came to Hobbs Boat for lunch to celebrate his birthday. Our friend ordered the three pies with mash and peas, my sister got the fish and chips, and I opted for the chicken curry. Everything was delicious. Hobbs Boat is a lovely restaurant with great food.

We stayed for 2 nights at the premier inn and come here for the breakfast on the first day and then Sunday lunch before we left. We come every year for bridgwater carnival but this was our first time at this hotel, and we are already planning on coming back next year. All the staff here were lovely, the squeezed us in for the breakfast as they were bookings only and we booked for Sunday lunch. We turned up 1 hour earlier than our booking time but we’re able to sit for drinks. When our table was ready we were a bit disappointed that they run out of Sunday lunches however the food we chose instead was beautiful. There was 15 of us altogether but even with the different meals ordered we still all ate together. Everyone was really friendly and our waitress was fantastic. There were empty plates all round! Kids were happy with their choices as were all the adults. And dessert was the icing on the cake prices were reasonable and was worth every penny. Me and my arranged companion enjoyed a very satisfying breakfast served by very polite and professional staff after a very energetic evenings activities. Will definitely stay again and eat there. Thankyou.
