Le Palais Dervich - Sedan

Stumbled across this place when visiting my daughter on her year abroad in Sedan. What a fabulous find! Lovely interior and a warm welcome, plus fantastic food, very nice wine and extremely reasonable. So good we made a 2nd visit! If you’re looking for something a bit different to the typical pizza/burger place, then this is for you. I’d strongly recommend you give this place a try!

We had lunch here on a Friday after visiting the chateau. We arrived a little early but were seated anyway by a friendly young server speaking French. Most seating is inside in a large attractive room with a couple of tables next to the street out front. Light music played in the background. One of us ordered a vegetarian Turkish meze while the other ordered a vegetarian couscous. Harissa for the couscous was brought to the table promptly on request. Both were delicious and just the right amount. Prices are very fair. This is a place we can definitely recommend if you are in Sedan to see the chateau.

A la carte le soir, des plats avec des saveurs de Turquie. Peu de monde ce soir là mais ce fût très bon et tranquille.

Voici un restaurant turc qui propose un service sous forme de buffets à volonté pour les entrées et pour les plats. La cuisine est simple mais elle est bonne et de qualité. L'accueil et le service sont discrets et souriants. Seul bémol : pas de desserts maison. Addition tout à fait raisonnable. Une très bonne adresse.
