El Coronel Mexican - Sebastopol

I had a mediocre meal at El Coronel and accidentally left my phone behind. When I went back to retrieve it, my phone was missing. The person who found it has been in contact with me and is demanding $350 for its return. I refuse to support a restaurant where employees steal from customers. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Great service they remade the enchiladas without question because it tasted like chicken instead of beef , enchiladas and rice tasted great, tacos could have been little less meat for the typical tortilla size but still tasted great. The great salad also tasted great but I think had food allergy to as I was itchy all nite and could sleep or breath easy.

Very nice place and the staff was very courteous and attentive. My order was perfect but my son's order got mixed up and he didn't get what he ordered. The waitress reordered for him but unfortunately it came out incorrect again. We did get a partial credit for his order on our bill without asking for it and we were satisfied.

Very happy servers and authentic atmosphere. I pigged out on a giant burrito, stuffed my face with chips salsa then ate a giant fried ice cream. The ice cream was heavenly. I was a little surprised at the prices on the food but I guess it's comparable to most restaurants around town these days. Also, BEAUTIFUL Mexican hand crafted color tables and chairs....LOVE.

I am extremely satisfied with the food and service at this restaurant. Maricela made us feel very welcome and provided detailed explanations about the food. She recommended several dishes that were delicious. My favorite was the Chile Relleno and the al Pastor taco. If you enjoy spicy food, I recommend trying the diabla sauce, as it packs a lot of heat. I also give a high rating to the house-made chips and three different dips. I am excited to return and try more dishes.
