Bidrage med feedbackHad the Cesar chicken salad. A regular choice of mine often adding a berry smoothie. Last night was a lamb special with humus and tabuli . Delicious. Hope the offer it again. Heidi is an attentive server, recognizes me when I arrive. The other staff are also attentive and not intrusive. Often I eat at off times, when it is not busy so it is quiet. A plus is the range of menu options which satisfy my friends diet needs from vegetarian to vegan. Enjoy your meal. Metta john
Walked in and placed order in person. Completely aware there would be a wait. Cashier (young teenage girl) spent 10-15 minutes during my wait outside talking to a teenage guy and girl that walked in. Went in to get my order and she didn 't offer napkins or utensils had go back ask for them. Order was missing cookie that I paid for. Side salad had nuts even though I was very specific about NO NUTS due allergy. Salad had pine nuts (tons). Gluten free bread tuna melt was super tiny ate it in two bites-smallest sandwich for $14.50!!! I basically paid $14.50 for a bite of food. Called to talk to cashier she told me she was busy with multiple orders .. I told her no you were busy talking to your friends . Went back got the cookie didn 't want wait for a new salad. The pesto chicken sandwich was delicious according to my partner. We did tip!
My first visit. This East West Cafe is a shadow of what I enjoyed at the Santa Rosa restaurant. I had the mediterranean platter. The hummus tasted stale and the texture was runny . The IPA was bottled rather than draft. I was surprised to think the two restaurants have anything at all in common other than the name East West. Sofie had a wrap. Without prompting, she said, This isn 't as good as the Santa Rosa place. Our friend had pancakes. The pancakes looked good with two eggs on top. Oddly, she had an IPA with her pancakes. Should I not know better, I 'd think she was a Stanford graduate.
Dropped in for a late lunch while in town. The cafe has a nice decor with neatly arranged tables and a large counter display. We were promptly greeted as we entered and seated. While we browsed the menu we were offered a small dish of grape leaves stuffed with rice. Very tangy and good. The menu has plenty of items and a somewhat Mediterranean flair. They also offer a nice selection of beer and wine we opted for a few glasses of red wine. The menu has a nice selection of starters , small dishes , sandwiches and entrees. We order a selection of items Lentil kale soup , rockfish tacos and teriyaki cashew chicken. The food is locally sourced and prepared fresh . The items were served promptly and we generous in portion. All our items were delicious and hot. Service was excellent. For dessert we shared a piece of chocolate cake they get from a local bakery. Was very good. This is family owned business and they do it right. Drop in and try it out!
