West Seattle Fish House

Food was decent not bad. I was the only patron at lunch time and they wouldn't let me use their bathroom; even offered to pay. No dice and had to use the library across the street. Charged extra for vinegar and cocktail sauce.

So this place is over priced 2 pieces for 1399 but its 1dollar for sauce 1699 for three with getto fries . NO NO NO GO TO NAMED BRAND FISH PLACE NOT HERE FISH SMALL AND FRIES ARE FROM WALMART DINNING ROOM AFUL LOOKS LIKE A OLD CONDEM PLACE LAST TIME I COME AND THE KETCHUP IS CHEAP CHEAP NOT A GOOD FIT

The food was really good. Ordered a cod sandwich which was great. The cheese and other ingredients with the cod, all worked well together to give it a wonderful flavor. Also ordered the mac and cheese-It was yum yum good. And of course a 2 piece fish n chips. The fish was good and not fishy or greasy tasting. Both the fish and sandwich came with fries which were well seasoned, crisp, and good. Prices were about $5 higher than the article I read in 2021 but still affordable for fish n chips.

My tilapia fish dinner was clean, fresh, tasty, and cooked to order. The owner was very personable and sweet. I'm so glad to have found this place right in my own backyard in West Seattle.Food: 5/5

Where to start?The place smells like burnt oil. The two/three piece cod tastes like burnt oil, the fries taste like burnt oil.The only thing that didn't taste like burnt oil was the tartar sauce. That tasted like mayo. Just mayo.But hey, if you need to buy tea, or ziplock bags, one wall of the establishment is a minimart?
