Uncle ​lee's - Seattle

This is the first restaurant review I've ever written. That's how awesome this place was. The staff are some of the kindest, warmest people I've met. I cannot remember the last time I was treated this well... ever. The food was delicious and very fresh and piping hot (we recommend the chicken lettuce wraps and the cumin beef). We will definitely be back!

Great Food, Great Service, Massively Overcharged. We ordered two plates: Mongolian Beef, and a Combo Platter. The owner (a very nice woman) asked if we'd like fried rice to go with that and I said yes. The meal was wonderful, however the $90 charge for the two entries was double what I expected. Are they charging $45 for the fried rice? Where I normally go the rice is free, and I didn't think to ask. Also, I did not receive an itemized receipt, so it was impossible to know what the extra charges were. The food was excellent, but I'm concerned they are sneaking in extra charges to unknowing customers.

We ordered takeout, and the person who answered the phone was very friendly. The order was accurate. I’m not gonna knock off stars for atmosphere when I didn’t eat inside, but it looked nice. There was a TV visible from the dining area, and that’s a huge turn off for me. The food was very good, tho. Only knocking off a star for the broccoli beef dish, which was a garlic bomb. It was too much garlic, really, it overpowered the dish. That said, if that’s how you like your broccoli beef, you will like it. I will try other dishes next time. And there will definitely be a next time.

So happy to live next to this place! Everything is good. Hunan tofu was amazing and I was so happy to find a sizzling rice soup in the area!

Excellent service and food. Especially enjoyed the sesame crispy scallops with perfect broccoli.
