Bidrage med feedbackI really appreciate that Taco Time is a fresh Mexican fast food restaurant in the Northwest. What I love even more is when they have taco specials! To celebrate their 61st anniversary, they're offering tacos for just 61 cents—limited to two every Tuesday this October! These tacos are full-sized, not tiny, and they're simply perfect!
Food preparation is questionable at best. Everything is prepped in advance, and taco shells from that morning are left sitting out in an open area to collect dust and dirt. They remain cold for far too long. To make matters worse, they reuse ground beef from the previous day. The management is a major issue. The manager has a terrible personal hygiene problem and her breath is awful. The worst part is how unprofessional she is—I've actually received text messages from her referring to me as an "annoying piece of ****". The owner of the place is extremely self-centered and gives off narcissistic vibes. Overall, it's a terrible experience. Good luck if you decide to try this place!
- I waited over 20 minutes for my food - When it finally arrived, it was cold - The taco shells were stale - All the tables were dirty; I picked the least dirty one and wiped it down myself - The entire place had a sour mop smell - The floor was so dirty that it was literally sticky - The beverage machine had a touchscreen and offered a wide variety of flavors, but it was out of probably 85% of them - There were no TVs or music, leaving the place in complete silence except for employees discussing their work schedules It honestly felt like they were on the verge of closing for good and just didn't care. I'm not sure what has happened to Taco Time lately. While many locations have declined, this one is particularly awful. We've reached a point where the pandemic can no longer be used as an excuse. As a business, it seems you really don't care about your customers at all.
I always love their soft tacos, however, their self service soda machine inside wasn’t working (because they didn’t feel like refilling the syrup in it) so they had to get you the soda from the machine in the kitchen. I cannot have fake sugar (gives me a migraine) and in extension Coke Zero/Diet Coke. And so when they gave me options consisting of both coke and Coke Zero I asked for coke, and thought it was fine but than they ended up giving me Coke Zero.
Food was Luke warm. Cheese on my burrito didn't even melt. My wife's mexi fries were cold and soggy. Orange soda weak and flat. Was not offered hot sauce or so our cream. Saved on we of my beef burritos just in case we end up getting sick from improperly heated beef. I doubt it was ever 165 degrees as a reheated ft good product should be. Crew needs to read, understand and practice food handling safely. Will never be back. Going home now to make some dinner as we didn't dare eat more than a few bites of this meal.
