Standard Brewing - Seattle

Drinks were tasty, food was delicious. Only downsides were that you are expected to bus your own glassware and dishes, and that I was overcharged by $30 (two drinks I didn’t order or receive) and the bartender had a bit of attitude when asked to recover the receipt. However the management who I spoke to afterward were kind and able to give me a refund! Overall, great drinks and food, just the minor hiccup with the check.

Cozy, illuminated just right. Simple menu, specials that make sense. Great place to have a beer, bring a date, or read a book. The place is calm, there is an outside area that feels homely and intimate. I’d see myself having many beers there. Also they go till late, which is perfect as so many other places close early.

Great beer. Don't get confused they're a brewery but this location is more of a restaurant/bar. They do not offer sample pours of beer (I hear people asking every time I visit), they sell liquor/cocktails, and do not allow minors. I usually get the fish tacos which are generally fine. I'd be a more frequent customer if they allowed minors, but they always point to WA liquor laws, but I'm not sure how other restaurants that serve liquor and allow minors. Seems like it more of a maintain a specific atmosphere kind of vibe, which is cool for them.

Great place. Great beer. Always rotating to keep the taste buds guessing. Their food is a sleeper, would definitely recommend whatever they have on special.I might go here too often if they had fries

Pretty good bar. Prices aren't ridiculous. Had a fish taco; was modest with a hot lump of fish and some fresh prepared vegetables (you can watch them put it together). Gender neutral bathrooms. Pleasant lighting and nice people there. Clearly doing what they can to make the neighborhood connected and fun. Appreciated going here.
