Bidrage med feedbackI have been eager to try out this restaurant for years, but getting a reservation has always been a challenge. I had heard great things about their Italian cuisine. However, my husband and I were disappointed with our experience. We had a reservation at 5 pm, and when I arrived promptly at that time, I was informed by the host that they preferred to seat guests only when the entire party had arrived. I was also told that all orders must be placed at the same time. It was not a very welcoming introduction. Despite this, our waiter was excellent. The food was decent, but not exceptional or amazing, and certainly not the best Italian food in Seattle. It is unlikely that we will return.
We are quite familiar with Italian cuisine, and Spinasse is one of the few places in this area that matches the quality of a good regional eatery in Italy. Italian food relies heavily on using top-notch, flavorful ingredients, making it difficult to replicate elsewhere. Our locally sourced spinach, for example, often lacks the sweetness and richness of Italian spinach, which can impact dish flavors. However, Spinasse handles these challenges admirably. While the restaurant is on the pricier side, that is to be expected in Seattle.
The butter pasta with sage is a must-try dish. It is incredibly delicious. It's so good that we seldom have the chance to try anything else.
The food was good but the risotto was not my favorite the flavor was a little sour and the rice wasn’t too my liking. But the drinks were great and their main pasta dish was delicious.
This is some of the best refined Italian food I have ever eaten. Always delicious. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great wine selection. Sage pasta is outstanding.
