I don't recall eating at Huong Binh restaurant before. The pictures on the glass windows invited my wife and me in there.We ordered duck noodle soup, pork chop rice with a fried egg, and a couple of iced cold coffee. The coffee was right on point, it was delicious. The duck noodle soup; soup was good, and the duck is not bad with the ginger fish sauce. It's a bit smaller portion than other places we went to.The rice-pork chop combination can be improved. First of all, the whole plate doesn't look appealing at all. How is the rice sculptured and displayed on a small plate, the egg is overcooked, and everything is crammed up in there. The young man who serves us told that the egg is extra charge while the picture on the wall displayed the whole thing. I told him it shouldn't be, but it doesn't matter we’ll pay for it. Plus I had to order another egg sunny side up. He said to do that they need a special pan to fry it. I said, “No, I'm a cook too.” All you need to do is cook the eggs on low heat and cover a couple of seconds at the end so the yolk is not overcooked. If you flip it over it will be too cooked. He then became quiet.Anyway, I just want them to improve so we can go back and enjoy more food in their restaurant.Additionally, we ordered crepes and spring rolls to go. I told the young server that we want fish sauce and no peanuts sauce. We paid for the bill and took off for Lake Chelan. As soon as we got there we started eating the spring rolls. Both orders have nothing but peanut sauce. It's a lost translation.Kid-friendliness: Asian restaurants are always kids friendly unless it's a bar-only type of place.Parking: Depending on the time and day. If you stop by early enough there are plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant and the garage downstairs.

Stopped by to pick up a to go order as I've been meaning to try the place since it's highly rated on Google Maps, and the ratings were correct. My lemongrass chicken entre was delicious! Perfectly flavored and a nice portion. The staff were very polite, and I will definitely be back to dine it. It's shameful what the city of Seattle has allowed happen to this neighborhood, with rampant open air drug sales/use and unchecked crime, but hopefully these great small businesses will survive. Delicious!Parking: Several spots were open when I pulled in, and there's also an underground garage.

The space looks really good, even though employees are a little bit slowly. In general, this should be the best family-owned restaurant in the area

Service not the greatest, but food is pretty good. Been going around to different pho restaurants in seattle and this is high up on my list! Lots of flavor in the broth and other dishes.
