Bidrage med feedbackWe ordered the Mongolian beef, five spicy chicken, walnut shrimp, fried noodles, and beans. This was our second visit, and the food was incredibly delicious and flavorful. The portions are always generous, and the prices are quite reasonable. It would be great if they could refresh the decor a bit. Nonetheless, we'll definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant!
Excellent Jiangnan - a great place for breakfast and brunch! The owner is an old friend from college. They serve delicious sesame flatbread, youtiao (Chinese donuts), salty soy soup, and steamed dumplings with hot red oil and spinach — all the flavors we miss from Shanghai street food vendors. They also offer some tasty, spicy Sichuan dishes. Highly recommended!
Not wanting to be forgotten, I spoke up and requested a table for two. The owner then asked whether I or the women behind me arrived first, which felt insulting since I had been at the door first. Nevertheless, I wanted to enjoy my breakfast, so I clarified that I was first. Unfortunately, that was the only interaction I had with the owner; she didn’t bring me a menu, take my order, or check in on me at all. I'm a bit puzzled by the comments about the owner's friendliness because my experience differed. Nonetheless, after a bit of time, I spoke to a young waitress to get a menu and place my order. The breakfast itself was fantastic! I recommend the shark fried noodles, sweet rice rolls with seaweed, and Chinese fried donuts, but I’d skip the soy milk. While my visit wasn’t perfect and I felt somewhat unwelcome, I still think this is a great restaurant. I’ve heard the owner speaks Shanghainese, and being from Shanghai myself, I had hopes of a warm welcome. Despite my experience, I would rate it five stars because I truly want to support my fellow community members.
I stumbled a year ago about this restaurant and have since gone back. your food and service are never disappointed! the owner is super friendly and welcoming and eating always comes fresh and hot. I recommend a suppe, sweet and sour pork, green bezel pancakes and handmade noodles.
Lived in seattle my whole life. Seen many restaurants fill this tricky location. Don't let the location or oddly shaped building fool you though, the food is good. Try the home made pan fried noodles. One order will last me for days! Glad this place has stuck around so many years.
