Bidrage med feedbackI had lunch there for the first time today and enjoyed a delicious blackened chicken Po Boy along with an organic greens salad. The staff were wonderful and friendly, the service was fast, and the food was fresh. I will definitely be back! It was also nice to sit by the windows and watch people while I ate.
The black-eyed peas jambalaya is the perfect dish to warm you up in the winter! When the weather is nicer, enjoying a blackened catfish po' boy on the sidewalk patio is a delightful break. The owner is incredibly friendly, and this restaurant is a wonderful small local business without the typical touristy vibe you find at Pike Place. It’s definitely one of my favorite spots to visit when I’m downtown and looking for a bite to eat.
Delicious gumbo and jambalaya! They are very accommodating with customizing your order. Don’t want sausage? No problem at all. Need extra rice? Absolutely! The owners are fantastic, and the food is exceptional.
As a transplant Washingtonian having been raised, reared, and brought up in Louisiana I was blown away about how much the Crayfish Etoufee of Bayou on first cafe and the Crayfish Etoufee of back home bore such similarities the only thing missing from the Crayfish Etoufee of Bayou on first cafe was the kick *Spiciness* I'm used to with the Crayfish Etoufee of back home in Louisiana but other than that WOW!!
DELICIOUS food. Place may look run down a bit but the food is so so good. Definitely come here!!
