Bidrage med feedbackTL;DR: messed up first drink. I asked for different milk offered to pay extra too on the redo but lady said no, obviously to avoid any additional effort on their part. Drove away, cup had hole, spilled everywhere, called, would not refund unless I spent 30 mins and 18 miles to drive all the way back there, nope. Ordered two blended drinks and something went awry with one of them so they said they had to remake it. Verbatim: Me: if it's not too late, may I please make a change to that drink? Her: No, it's an extra charge and I already rang it up. Me: I would be happy to pay for the extra charge if that's okay. Her: There's no way for me to charge just for the different milk on the computer. Me: Oh... okay. Her: Well I mean I guess I could void out the *entire transaction* and then charge the *whole thing* all over again. with an attitude like the effort involved would be worse than Sisyphus' rock and only one other car in line with 3 baristas on duty so time wasn't that much of a concern... Me keenly aware of her desire to do as little as possible but still hoping. Hesitantly.... Well, I mean, I wouldn't mind that, if you would be okay with it... Her: I mean I guess I could but like it would look really weird on your credit card statement and then your bank would probably flag it as suspicious... Me: .... Her: oh it's too late Sorry she already put the base in. Me: that's okay. I had already tipped $2 by the way. I drove away only to find that my drink had a hole in it. I discovered this because it spilled coffee on my white shirt and all up in my car and in my drink holders. I was already 15 minutes away and did not have time to turn around and have it remade and stuff, so I called, explained the situation, and asked if they could please refund that drink on my transaction. The person who said she was the manager said I would have to come back and show them the cup in order for them to do that, and that she would be there until eleven it was about 1030 when I called . I said that policy didn't make a lot of sense... Couldn't anybody just stab a hole in their cup and show it to you? Her response: is that what you're saying you did? I said nope, just seems like a silly rule. Anyways we ended the convo; she offered to give me corporate's email and I said no no thank you have a nice day. I can't comment much on the drink because most of it is in my cupholder or on my shirt.
I really truly love this coffee shop. I usually make my own coffee;so I refuse to order coffee out anymore as I know how I like it/what was wrong with it. However this is only in my home town. Whenever I am anywhere near a big foot. No matter the time or agenda. I always stop in. It is the best coffee around and all the shops have really lovely people. They are also open 24 hours, so that is a double-decker win!
I do not leave negative reviews. This is more a buyer beware to warm and prepare patrons before considering taking a chance in going here. I love. LOVE my BigFoot Java. Mine is on 6th Ave in Tacoma. I was on my way north and decided to stop. No lie, we were there 40 minutes. Here's what happened to me I ordered a non fat latte. Easy enough. 2 drinks total. The gal on our side with a good times hoodie was excited about the lady in the car on the other side. She was selling girl scout cookies. Here's the kicker. Our barista didn't make our drinks then tend to the cookie purchase. Nope. She left our cups empty, went to find out what kinds of cookies the lady had, commented that she didn't have cash, went to the back, got cash, bought her cookies, took her change and then proceeded to make our drinks without washing her hands. I have a good handlers card. That was beyond gross. But then she served me a full fat milk latte when I asked for a non-fat one. So we have to wait longer to get what distinctly ordered. It was disappointing to say the least. Had it been free, that's one thing, but I paid for it.
I've been a frequent customer for many years. I've been to this location multiple times, but today March 13th at 5:20 PM, I sat for 35 minutes and watched 7 cars proceed on the window of the side of the freeway, while not a single one moved on my side. The car behind me decided to leave but I got trapped in before I could do so myself. Upon arrival, the girl working decided it was appropriate to go to the other window to schmooze with a customer and leave us hanging. Then went into the back to grab cash and purchase girl scout cookies from said customer and didn't wash her hands. Then proceeded to make the drink wrong. There was no shame in her actions and she clearly did not care for her customers. The girl on the other side was doing great and I really wish I was on her side because I would get SO much time back.
If I could rate zero I would. I waited behind 1 car for 15 minutes easily if not more. Seems like it was more of a catch up during the weekend then selling coffee. 3 more cars then got in line who knows who long they waited.
