Jose's Mexican Cafe - Seaside

On January 4th, my friend and I had lunch at this spot on Cannery Row. We started with a basket of tortilla chips, which we munched on until our meals arrived. Unfortunately, we soon noticed cockroaches crawling out of the basket and onto our table. The waitress killed them right there, leaving us both shocked when it was time to settle the bill. She mentioned that she thought the roaches had been dealt with, but clearly, that wasn't the case. I believe this situation should have been addressed more appropriately, and offering us a complimentary coffee would have been a nice gesture. Would we return? Absolutely not!
