Hemingway's Cafe - Seaside Heights

This is a fantastic spot located just a stone's throw from the beach in Seaside Heights, NJ. The atmosphere is lively, featuring pool tables and live music, along with delicious food. I tried their Buffalo Wings, which were perfectly crispy with just the right level of spice. The stuffed lobster tail was more affordable than I expected, and it was incredibly tender and juicy, with tasty stuffing. Don’t miss the street corn; it’s absolutely amazing. My wife and her sister both ordered the bacon-wrapped beef medallions, while my brother-in-law chose the flat iron steak. We all shared the street corn, and my wife couldn’t resist trying the lava cake, which was excellent. I highly recommend visiting Hemingway's Cafe. Cheers!

The clientele at this restaurant in Seaside is still the best. I enjoyed some fantastic filet mignon medallions wrapped in bacon, and the fingerling potatoes were absolutely amazing.

This charming restaurant is situated just a few blocks from the beach and greets guests with lovely decor and a five-star ambiance. The service can be quite busy, so it's advisable to call ahead. You can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere at the bar while listening to a live DJ, or opt for outdoor dining on a clear day. The food is good, though not exceptional, and the prices lean towards the higher end. The restaurant earns most of its appeal from the fantastic atmosphere and the friendly wait staff.

Maybe we were there on a bad night. We had a reservation, but some unseen, cowardly manager told their hostess to tell everyone with a reservation (like us) that our reservation wouldn 't be honored. The 'why ' seemed a little weird, because supposedly thekitchen was backed up so they wouldn 't take any more seatings, but if we went to the bar area we could order food there. Huh??So our group of 12 did go to the bar area where our terrific bartender saved the day. He took our food and drink orders and didwhat he could to make our unhappy group have a good time. The place itself is nice and could be fantastic if all the areas wereup to speed, but sadly they are not. As I mentioned, our bartender was terrific, and the hostess did the best she could with animpossible mission. As for management- they need to make some better decisions; if we had been told we would be seated but therewas an excellent chance the food was going to be very delayed- this would have been a four or five star review. And again -maybe this was just a one-off bad night. If it was, they 'll probably do just fine. But if this is standard operating procedure-I hope the new owners run the place much better.

My sister and I walked the strip looking for a place for dinner. Found awesome food with quality presentation, friendly great service and really nice ambiance. Very clean too worth visiting again and again!
