Sushi Center - SE

I don’t know if my friends and I just had a one-off experience compared to all these other reviews but the food and service we experienced cannot allow me to recommend this place to anyone. The service was fairly slow, it took some time for things to arrive and I initially thought that they were just taking over 40 minutes to serve the rest of our food, turns out they never actually made it despite clearly marking the laminated menu (and the markers they gave us were all out of ink, including the replacement markers). We also accidentally ordered stuff that were sold out because we were never warned about it, they just didn’t make our food and didn’t tell us it was sold out until we asked about the status of our food. The taste was also questionable. I had the salmon tempura roll and I get a rotten fishy taste from it (I can already feel my stomach grumbling). My friend tried the yam tempura and it was still raw. The rest of the food my friends and I ordered weren’t any better so I guess it’s a good thing that a bunch of our food never came. The only reason why I’m rating it two stars is because their pricing is much more affordable than other sushi restaurants. I might come back in the future to give this place a second chance because of the past reviews but as things stand, it’s likely that I won’t be eating here again.
