When I first moved to Scranton nine years ago, I had brought my children to the play area located in the Marketplace at Steamtown. We had decided to have lunch at Ruano’s, and that is when I realized they cooked NYC style, even the set up of their display of delicious food. We ordered the baked ziti, cheese and buffalo pizza. The food really made me feel at home. When, I met the owner I realized that I knew him from Brooklyn, NYC back in the day. He couldn't be any nicer, and that adds an extra touch to the overall experience. If you reside in Pennsylvania, or just visiting, do stop by to grab lunch. They are located on the 2nd floor of the Marketplace at Steamtown. Great portions, quick service and delicious food. I come here sometimes during my lunch hour and the workers are always the sweetest!
