Wally's American Pub And Grille

The food was incredible. Every dish. Every bite. Unfortunately, the service did not match. We were seated, and the server got us waters and then did not come back to check on us or take our order for 28 minutes. When he did take our orders, it felt like he was rushing us, and then he didn't stop by again until we were clearly done with the meal. Another server was waiting on the table next to us and saw our table with empty water glasses, so she brought a pitcher and asked if we wanted a refill. The tables in our section were packed very close together, so it was quite noisy and hard to hear each other speak, especially since they were also piping in music.

I've visited this restaurant several times, as I frequently spend time in the area. While I haven't tried everything on the menu, each visit has been marked by excellent food and impeccable service. The layout and atmosphere are just really nice, creating a refined dining experience. The patio, in particular, is a delightful spot to enjoy a meal when the weather is not too extreme. It also has plenty of parking, and is never overly crowded. This restaurant an ideal venue for lunch meetings with friends and clients, offering a sophisticated ambiance without an exorbitant price tag, especially considering its prime location in a high-end part of town. I look forward to continuing my visits.

Food, service, and atmosphere are all great. The wings, rigatoni with chicken and sausage, and French dip all outstanding! My favorite though is the artichoke appetizer- 3 big halves with just salt, pepper, and a bit of oil, but I come from NJ and this is always a pick when I come to AZ!
