Campo Italian Bistro - Scottsdale

We waited 20 minutes to even have someone speak to us once we sat down. Then we decided to love to the bar in hopes of better service. Waited another 15 minutes for a glass of water and a snarky bar tender to not take our drink order for an additional 20 minutes. Food is fantastic, service leaves a lot to be desired.

This was our first visit to Campo. The appetizers were decent, but a bit overpriced at $13 for just four slices of toasted bread and a small bowl of marinated green olives. The Caesar salad was the least impressive dish – the dressing had almost no flavor. However, the main courses were quite good; we tried both the chicken dishes and the pasta, and everyone enjoyed them. The dessert was the highlight of the meal! The Chocolate Budino and raspberry sorbet were delicious. We will definitely give it another try.

Food was mediocre Calamari undercooked and too chewy to enjoy Focaccia was boring and very dry can't believe you had to spend $9 for bread Pasta dishes way over priced for what you get. Flavor was just ok Glass of basic wine small pour was $15 bucks. Service was very good and so was the ambiance

I was really disappointed! The cheese appetizer lacked flavor, but the meatball appetizer was excellent. Unfortunately, the meat pizza was awful, and I ended up sending it back (the restaurant did not charge us for it). The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable when he finally arrived. Overall, I would not recommend Campo. I suggest looking for another Italian restaurant. - Jim G

As fried calamari enthusiasts, we can’t resist ordering it when we see it on the menu. Unfortunately, this dish was rubbery and tough. However, the sauces accompanying it were quite good. Next, we tried the Caesar salad, which had a bland dressing served over crisp lettuce. Lastly, we had the margarita pizza. While it had a nice crust, it was also lacking in flavor. As a New Yorker, I can confidently say that it wasn’t great pizza!
